Griekwaland-Wes het 37 geaffilieerde lede by SABU,waarvan 5
Juniors/studente en 2 dames is.
10 van die skuts het reeds Protea kleure verwerf. Tans is 7 Griekwa
skuts gekies in die Palma oefengroep.
Die klubspanne word uit drie klubs gekies nl.Sishen- ,Noordkaap - en
Boshof Skietklubs
Die Griekwaland- Wes Bisley word elke jaar in die eerste week van Mei
op die Sishen Skietbaan aangebied.
Die Skiet baan is uitgele met mooi groen gras leplekke,uitsig oor die
ystererts myn en ‘n groot klubhuis. Alle skuts word hartlik uitgenooi om
hierdie Bisley te kom bywoon en die gasvryheid en mooi natuurskoon
van die Noord Kaap te geniet Die klimaat is dan ook heerlik.
Verblyf is
beskikbaar,hetsy kampering op die gras langs die klubhuis of gastehuise
in Kathu en omgewing. |
Griqualand
West currently has 37 SABU affiliate members of witch 5 are
junior/students and 2 are female
10 members
have earned Protea Colours. Presently 7 members are part of the Palma
training group
Club teams are
chosen from three clubs nl. Sishen- ,Northen Cape- and Boshof shooting
clubs
The Griqualand
West Bisley is held during the first week of May each year on the Sishen
shooting range
The shooting
range has neat grass shooting points with a view of the iron ore mine
and a large club house. Everyone is invited to the shoot and come and
enjoy the hospitality and beauty of the Northern Cape with favourable
climate
Accommodation
is available in guesthouses in the Kathu area or you can camp on the
lawn next to the shooting range
